More than that, the two passages from Leviticus that is used against homosexuality is used out of context. Very little of the Old Testament is actually applicable in modern Christian life.

So people need to stop using the Bible to excuse their hate.

This is especially relevant today since Scotland’s Catholic Minister condemned the country’s decision to legalise Gay Marriage and sending out messages to the rest of the Catholic church in England and Wales to also condemn it.

Also I’d like to point out that in the New Testament, Jesus revoked what was passed in the old testament as God’s will, this is why those of Christianity are not circumcised at birth! Jesus died for our previous sins right, so therefore by using arguments that the Old Testament forbade it is ergo saying that Jesus died for nothing.

I’d also like to point out that the Catholic Church is the only religion who are condemning this action. I’m not hearing Jews spout this nonsense nor am I hearing the thousands of other religions based on Christianity condemn these actions. The Catholic Church does not allow its priests to be married and doesn’t take necessary action when it finds paedophiles working in the system. 

Gay marriage does not constitute people marrying their cats or their dogs or their fish. How many times must this be said? 

Mm… Why is it I always find myself arguing this case? This is the 21st century. I thought we were more advanced than denying a person the right to love whomever they choose.
